The chocolatewe supply with
our Chocolate Fountains is from Belgium. It contains no nuts
or wheat and is organically produced. The White is 28% , Milk
33%, Medium 54% & Dark 72%. These are minimum cocoa content of the
chocolate.
One of the reasons why we believe our chocolate is the best
is because it retains all its natural cocoa butter. Many well-known
brands on the high street sell the cocoa butter to the cosmetics
industry, as it is a valuable commodity, and replace it with
cheaper vegetable oil. As well as compromising the quality of
the chocolate, this also results in a very different taste and
texture.
Top Chocolate Tip
Chocolate Party Time recommends you
either use the Milk or Medium for your party. The Dark variety
would be for true lovers of plain chocolate, most chocolate connoisseurs
will only choose a content of cocoa above 70%, this can be quite
bitter on the palette & tends to be eaten in small quantities, it will
give you your chocolate “fix” very quickly!
The white looks great but has two main draw backs. Firstly it
has to be melted very slowly (preferably over hot water) this
could be a problem at the venue. Secondly the “juice”
from any fruit such as Strawberries or Raspberries can easily
discolour the chocolate becoming a white with pinky bits fountain.
